Today is the birthday of our Former President of the country Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He dedicated his whole life in making India strong, prosperous and capable. He will always a inspiration for the people.

Early Life of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Birth :- 15 October 1931
Place :- Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu
Education :- Graduated in science from St. Joseph's College, Trichy in 1954 and specialized in Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1957.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Full name of Dr. Kalam is Dr. Abdul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He is Pioneer in fiberglass Technology and led a young team to initiate this effort in ISRO. He made contribution as project director to develop India's first indigenous satellite launch vehicle (SLV-3) which successfully injected Rohini satellite in to near Earth orbit in July 1980.
Dr Kalam was significant for responsible in evolution of ISRO's launch vehicle programme, particularly PSLV configuration. After working in ISRO he took responsibility of developing indigenous guided missiles at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays tribute to former President and we can also say 'Missile Man of India' Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birthday anniversary on 15 October. "He dedicated his life in making India strong, prosperous incapable. He will always remain a source of inspiration for the people of country", PM Modi said Tweet.

Dr. Kalam served as the 11th president of India from 2000 to 2007 and earned respect and admiration of people and political parties. He is also credited with opening doors of Rashtrapati Bhavan to the masses and came to be affectionately called 'people's president'. 

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam passed away in 2015, and also earned sobriquet ' Missile man of India' for his role in the development of country's missile programme.
